happy to hear that substitute the soda for a drinks you enjoy also it will ease the transition it will take 3 days for the sugarcane cravings to pass and 21 days to forget the sensation and habit of the soda but with a substitute you will be setting up a new one
no luck needed change is instant

I was just thinking of that today! I enjoy drinking ice tea with real lime juice so that will be my substitute, not the same taste but much healthier. One withdraw symptom that I'm having today is a bad headache so I hope it goes away, I already took aspirin but not helping me much.

I haven't been making sudden changes to my diet or fitness. I have been working out for a couple of years already and I have been making changes to my diet since my awakening started and that's been about 2 and half years ago. At the moment the only sudden change I be making is to stop drinking soda and the reason I'm doing it is cause the way I drink soda is in a very unhealthy way.

Yes, I drink a lot of Coca-Cola, my favorite one. I don't drink coffee anymore, I sort of replace the coffee with Soda (not a good choice) It was a way for me to get my energy in the morning. But then I would just drink soda through out the day and that's what I want to stop.

Hi Deepsoul, that's great that you stop drinking soda completely! Soda is just not good at all. That's what I want to be able to say some day.

I do hope that you can move more around, little by little.

Good move on the soday. Ice t sounds like a great alternative. Sugar i think is thr most important thing to limit. Especially if you exercise. Good luck!

Thanks Heaven ,I think its starting to happen ,love the summer too ,just a thought my daughter is 28yrs old and she has a preference for soda water, she likes her bubbles ,she just drinks it straight ,but makes her own with a soda stream machine so no added salt..i suppose you could add lemon or lime or maybe even fresh strawberries.
