You're asking the wrong person here.
I grew up with only 2 channels and even then it was restricted to certain times a day and In-between viewings it was only the test card showing.
They used to wish viewers goodnight after the late news and play the national anthem.
So you see, I'm spoilt now.
My son bought me a firestick for Christmas.
It's good. I'll admit that.
I'm housebound and so I have nothing else to do all day.
But I find , even though I'm wishing to watch some of the box sets on Netflix etc , my day is taken up with regular TV as in all the TV shows that I can now watch and enjoy that I never could when I was working 7 days a week with no day off and was completely out of touch with the Tele.

Why didn't I think of that!? Of course! Good one, Altair!!

I got firestick last year and now it baby sits me. LOL!
I am amazed of all the things you can see.
If I am tired, I watch Westerns and generally fall asleep.
I watch the news and generally check out some of the sci-fi
programs. The only problem I find is I am running out
of time travel movies to watch. LOL!

Good point Honza.
I generally spend part of the evening on my iPad and partly reading a book.
