1) Remember always that God promised to show us The Way, not The Easy Way!
2) If you want friends, be friendly. If you want Love, give Love. You will NEVER get that which you have not FIRST given to others!
3) Your knowledge of any subject, condition, or of any other nature is of no value if it isn't put into practical use. In other words: Don't just be good, be good FOR something!
4) Be willing to be the Big Frog in the Little Pond rather than the Little Frog in the Big Pond; but don't croak too loud at any time! Never think more highly of yourself than you should.
5) If you're going to Believe,
then believe with absolutely every fiber in your being. The moment your fears and doubts take hold is the moment you give them more credence than God. The children of Israel fell prey to that and look what happened to THEM!
6) The pyramids were built one brick at a time. The bricks were made from straw and mud-which just goes to show you what can come of nothing more than straw and mud.
7) A rotten apple left in a barrel can make every other apple in it rotten in turn; but no matter how many perfect apples you throw in that barrel the rotten one will never be made well. Get rid of your rotten apples.
8) Desires are of your own making. God Himself does not take away or overcome your own desires. They are totally and completely your own. How's THAT for a scary thought?
Always do what seems best to you in regards to your own relations, and always follow your own conscience.
9) You really want to know how you're going to make it to Heaven? You will make it leaning on the arm of someone you helped.
10) Try not to feel too bad when repeated attempts fail. It only means you continue to have hope that things will change; be different; be better.
