Hahahaha, I'm reminded.
A while back I had this tune going around in My head, and no clue what the name of the track was or the group or anything. Couldn't even remember any of the lyrics, all I had to go on was the guitar riff stuck in My head. I knew it was a popular song so I attempted to google it, several times actually.
The riff started a bit like this .... (in My own mind anyway  );
'Dum dum da da dada dum dum' ...... or perhaps like this, 'der der de de de dede der der'...... depending on how spell Your guitar chords , in fairness I tried quite a few different combinations, tried yahoo answers, the lot.
You'd be amazed how many people appear to try this approach by the looks of it. I saw loads of similar enquiries, on various forums, usually accompanied by a range of suggestions from other users eager to help, but anyway to no avail in this instance.
Eventually I caught it on the radio and managed to get the details I required. Here Ya go;
