Is it possible to have an open third eye and not be psychic?
I'm just asking because I want to know if I'm feeling my chakras correctly. It feels like my third eye is open but I guess I don't believe I'm psychic.

Explain what you mean by "psychic". Everyone on here is always talking about that while where I live we speak of healers, readers, intuitive people etc.
A psychic has a bad rep, like "a person who has strange mental powers and abilities (such as the ability to predict the future, to know what other people are thinking, or to receive messages from dead people)."
I am intuitive, I can heal and read, preference for reading, but I don't do any of these things, nor can I.
So my 3rd eye is working fine, but I'm not a psychic.

A person might be able to read Tarot cards and give message but might feel inadequate with clairaudience (hearing), clairvoyance, clairsentience, claircognizance, etc. One of the problems I suspect is the person 'holds back' because they believe they can not do it. Sometimes all they need is for somebody to give them some encourage. Other times, it might take some time before the person can experience any of the things you mentioned. And then, there are some people, who never get to experience any of those things.
Just give it some time.
