Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

"All the world's a stage..." yadda yadda.
So if your beliefs change then what? If they do change and they're not of what is unchanging? Mine too by the way. It's questions like these that I ask myself and it gives a certain perspective. My beliefs are of the past yet wherever I go, there I Am.

They're baseballs and trees because I want to throw something at something.

I guess ya gotta balance structured thinking with free-flowed existence. After all we're anchored here by our brains for a reason.

''anchored here by our brains'...I have never heard that.

Off the cuff, I might have said..."anchored here because of our stupidity."
Is that the same thing?

Don’t be saying that, Miss Hepburn . . . “anchored here because of our stupidity.” Where’s that pleasure / enjoy everything that you like to promote? We don’t want to suffer by way of any learning. Heck . . . discipline and learning are NOT enjoyable.

While we are all sitting in a circle with locked arms singing “Kumbaya” . . . the mob approaches from behind with clubs and spears. Let them kill us. It’s what brings us enjoyment. You certainly cannot call it stupidity.

See how it all ties together?

Turn the toddler ( the mind ) loose . . . and see what you get.

I am a very slow learner...I consider myself to be so stupid, in that regard...(and very smart for realizing it and it makes me laugh)...
Mainly because it has taken me 3 lifetimes, that I know of, to learn TWO simple, really basic things! (No mystery has to do with kindness.)

Now I'm clear .....learned 'em ....finallllllly!
Clear sailing from here... got the Buddhist style detachment even goin' on...
the boat is goin' merrily down the stream....and there are still wacko things that sometimes come my way...
and like a storm comin' in Key West ...I'm
at Southern Most Beach sayin'..."Come on, Lord...
let's get this over with ...dish out whatever there is...so we can be together"... in purity.

The perspective is the thing ...seeing what is going on has been accelerated with the help of many things...
gurus, meditation, the Holy Spirit, A Course In Miracles, Abraham, all the New Thought teachers, many STEs or Divine Visitations,
the list goes on...put all of it in a bundle and it is sheer, blessed Grace.

Is spirituality a trap?

How could that which inspires, illumines, and liberates be a trap?

Rest assured that if it traps, it is not spirituality, but simply the preservation and perpetuation of ignorance and ego, which spirituality consciously seeks to transform and transcend.

Spirituality is the progressive practical revelation, aspiration, realisation, and manifestation of truth in the physical - within each individual, and within the collective body.

My advice is to reject inferior and confusing resources; sincerely and assiduously seek - and utilize - the superior ones.
