I did another search on Amazon for a decent gluten and corn free tortilla. They do have one but I have to buy 48 tortillas. That's their minimum order. I just tried making them from scratch. I'll try them tonight for dinner. We will see.

I bought Christmas presents for the only two remaining members of my family. So they have a few presents each. I wanted to get it done early as they need some fiddling with (my Aunt's have to be re-shaped so they will go through her letter box! She is nocturnal, and parcel post won't get to her if it won't go through her letter-box!)
That will involve me in some creative thin box-making projects! haha

At Goodwill, I found two big cones of handspun wool yarn in a natural brown for $6. That would probably be $30-$40 worth of yarn bought new, and it's nice quality. This weekend, I'll crochet slipper-socks from it, then felt them. I want to make them with a split between the big toe so I can wear flip-flops with them; that way I won't have to mess with regular shoes when I have to take the dog out or fetch the mail.

I also bought a big bag of sequins and stray buttons for $4. Last year, I discovered that if you lay sequins between sheets of baker's parchment and iron them on High, they flatten out, become slightly irregular, and have a pearly sheen to them, rather than being glitzy. Not being a glitzy kind of girl, I never imagined I'd one day want to sew sequins all over everything, but I've spent a lot of relaxing evenings stitching melted sequins onto otherwise plain clothes, and I get a lot of compliments on them. As for the buttons, I'm making holiday ornaments for co-workers to clear out scraps of fabric from my stash, and will use those (and some of the sequins) for that project.

On my list is a pair of men's khakis in my size, as I've shrunk out of the ones I've got. I found two pairs of jeans-style pants at Goodwill that would have worked, but because of the yoke in back they're harder to alter at the waist, so I gave them a pass because I know the right kind will turn up before long.

I'm looking at a smart watch for a christmas present for me. Hubby can't buy me one since he would pick out the wrong one.
