My spirituality
I think I have found a new me. Yet I like it, but where has it been before I found it? is this my destiny to become the true person I am and like now? I still have my thoughts and opinions, but I seem calmer now than I use to be. I am trying not to judge others like I use to and accept them as they are good and bad. The word agape love comes to mind here. Curious Paul

It's exciting when you find out something about yourself that had previously been hidden. Judging others is difficult not to do sometimes - so good for you for trying not to do it
Good luck on your journey

If you are calmer, non-judgemental and happier, it is obvious that you are on the right path.
Keep on walking the path, dude. Cheers.

Hello plJames, what brought it about that you found a new "you?" Was it an event, a thought? You ask <where was it before you found it?" I think our complete
beingness our true isness is always there. As we awaken we become more centered, rooted in presence. Congratulation in this everlasting process.

Judging others has been a thorn in my side all of my life. But I've noticed now instead of judging differences I am celebrating differences. It's a whole new feel for me and I like it.

I am also interested in learning more about how plJames achieved the breakthrough that suddenly increased his awareness about the nature of spirituality. Was it a set of thoughts, words, and/or deeds that originated with him, or was it something that happened TO him>

There is no true self, there is only the ever changing sense of ego based identity called a personality. So you never stop changing as a person. It really depends on what you decide to do and where you turn your attentions.

well
To the OP, that's great and you should embrace the new you. I know a few that felt reborn/reinvented a few times.
To all, has anyone felt like an altogether new person when this has happened? Or at least like they had been on the outside looking in?

birds, I'd have to say yes. Because with each new awareness I see the world differently. It's usually a wow moment until I make the adjustment.
