If I turn off the TV, radio and avoid newspapers my life is pretty good tbh.

It makes me wonder if we are being fed all this doom and gloom for some kind of reason....if we are creators of our reality imagine the effect if everyone over the world all focused on one thing could have? Something I think about a lot.

Could be. One wonders if it's important for those who run the world (beyond political leaders) to keep things unstable because they're easier to manipulate that way. Mostly it seems to be about financialisation (so the term seems to have appeared) about financial institutions increasing their influence / power through politics. They seem determined in their cancerous use of debt to assert control. A small bank sets up....soon it's absorbed by a larger bank, etc. and (as David Buik claims) nothing material happens in the world without a bank. It'll all blow up one day. The treachery has started. In the EU the state can't bail banks out any longer. It has to come from taxpayers, savers and investors.

However, I tend to live in a world apart, concerned just to survive with a few comforts. For current affairs I'll turn to Reuters for the least biased news, sometimes glance at other rags and feel a certain sadness for those people who absorb that stuff, their general lack of awareness of being fodder to the extremely wealthy and so on.
