Similar to what Wanchain was saying, a Taoist might attribute night sweats to overactive yang, or yin deficiency. A very general way of saying you need to balance your internal energies out in some way. There are a lot of different ways to do that -- meditating to calm the body/mind and lead it in the yin direction; not eating too late at night, and not eating too much for dinner; not exercising too late; not looking at computer or phone screens too close to sleeping; etc. There are also concepts like exercising earlier in the day can increase one's yang energy, encouraging the body to naturally balance itself out later in the evening by making the transition to a yin state more fully.
