I mostly agree with what you said here

... but no idea how you got this that I am relying on dreams to get to Heaven.

So let me ask you this. Do you think dreams are a pure [and only] response of the subconsciousness or do you think that there can be a spiritual component to it?

I believe in God but I also believe in the latter; long years of [mostly painful] experiences have taught me that dreams are more important that what some might want to believe; After all, dreams [and nightmares] were the tools that God used to show me the way to him.

I also believe that what is written in the bible is sacred and true (albeit filtered by men), but I do not think that ALL the truth is included there; So yes, I would be very careful to face [and take party with] any of the truth that is not included in the bible ... and dreams can help in this area as long as you keep praying to God and listening to your intuition
