How I think of it all when a relationship doesn’t work, is the universe will only provide us things that are of the same vibration of ourselves. So maybe he was at a lower vibration than you, or you were more spiritually awakened or at least more insightful than he in terms of awareness and vibration, and the higher power believed maybe that he would not serve the right purpose in your life, at least not for now. That’s just how I look at things, and sometimes the best relationships start as friendships :). Stay open and optimistic, and know everything happens for a reason, and to let it all unfold naturally. :) Blessings to you!��
