My mom died recently, in her own home. I was with her. Last night, I wasn't home and my daughter came home around 11 p.m. I got home around 2:30 a.m. My daughter said she heard a thud in the kitchen and went to see what it was and her coffee cup that was sitting in the dish drainer was now on the floor sitting, unbroken. She said it couldn't have fallen out because it was sitting inside drainer with nothing else. Then she went into the living room and heard a noise and saw her brother's fishing pole twisting. These things, of course, freaked her out. I said must be grandma just wanting to check in on you. The day she died she kept asking for toast and coffee.
