Not entirely true. It takes (at least) two people to make an interaction; to become a problem or its solution, as I see it. Best for people to follow their instincts. I don't have any social media accounts but if someone face-to-face said they wanted no further contact with me I'd leave it at that - and be most suspicious if they tried to reverse it later. What are they after? I'd think. There's always a cost of some kind!
