I have strong intuition and anxiety. I've had a few huge forboding feelings about life path decisions but in general, for me, my warning intuition feels similar to anxiety so the way I trust it is by whether my intuition is in sync with my anxiety or counter to it. If my intuition tells me things will be ok I may still feel anxiety but have a sense of calm underneath. If the calm isn't there I try to avoid the situation. better to be safe than sorry. I've often ignored my intuition to my detriment because I just brushed it off as anxiety. But it's tricky. Like the other poster stated, just try to get to know your feelings as best you can.
