I don't know about external/internal vision, but deja vu is when is it shown to you something that is beyond you and it happens later in life, so you actually can't control it, or visualise it.
About visions of many kind, i can say, to wait and see if it happens something about it or is it shown, that your vision was wrong. I now that it is hard to accept, when you see something but it happens different way, sometimes it is some inter-possibility, that changes when seen and you can't take it as true vision.
My guess is, when you have true vision you know it.
I was always interested into people with shizophrenia, where does those visions and ideas comes from.. Everybody has it's source of informations, better would be, when they are real and you can connect them into this life.
I sometimes get into crazy spheres and i wonder, how is it even possible that so stupid energies exist, why do they occur, how to remove them.
I wouldn't mind have more true visions.
