what's wrong with a little speculation if it gets you through the day?, or a life time ?
i fully believe all that's necessary to know will be known when the "physical lands" symbols are no longer of use to us - particularly right after we have discarded our physical bodies.
As we live (physically), i believe we all can go on "transcendental reconnaissance" missions when the need to, suits us.
