Greetings Friends,

Year after year (and because I'm sickly type of fellow) my doctor gave me gelatine capsules. Year after year I'd split them open and pour the contents into a teaspoon. After a chat with the local pharmacist (who was shocked by my actions) she informed me that all doctor proscribed capsules can be obtained in tablet form. So far it seems she is right - and this information about me being a fussy vegetarian is now in her pharmaceutical computer. LOL Plus the fact that I have a dairy intolerance.

An added note to this capsule/tablet information is that the pharmacist will have to supply capsules if it is prescribed by the doctor. For me, anyway, my doctor was, and still is, quite happy to change a habit of a lifetime and search out tablets for me.

Anybody know if tablets are cheaper or dearer to produce than capsules?
