inavalan it isn't that your liver cannot metabolize fructose, it's that it isn't required as fructose is assimilated by diffusion and doesn't even mess with insulin the same way other sugars do. that is of course pure fructose present in fruit/whole foods and not crazy things like high fructose corn syrup which are another horror story entirely as I'm sure you're well aware hehe. it is definitely worth looking into the facts about facilitated diffusion, especially since this topic of food is so important to you which is great. I have more to learn about the subject too if you care to share anything you come across involving diffusion and consuming produce
