I feel the gemini twins could also be self reflections, and reflection of oneself and another. Finding a common factor from wherein someone can identify themselves, observe oneself and also another. A mirror. Gemini is an air sign that can also contribute the fact that they need higher mental pursuits, mental stimulation and can be very conscious of a concept from all sides, a multidimensional way of looking at something, and not sticking to just one side of the story, that they can adjust in varied different situation( mutable by nature ) and exceptional and witty conversationalists.
Also dwelling in the mental realms and evolving by eventually overcoming the play of duality through higher intellectual pursuits. So complete control and power over mental faculties. And moving through the mind to higher wisdom.
Unless one acts out of lower nature and any person can do that. We can focus on the shadow, but there are light attributes as well. No sun sign is the 'enemy'. We ourselves are our worst enemies.
It's all perspective, how we wish to look at it. The first feelings are always initiated within us. So if we fear something, maybe it's something within ourselves we fail to acknowledge.
