My taste for salad (leafy lettuce types) comes and goes - you don't have to eat it all the time. Variety IS important for health and nutrition. If you don't have time to make your own croutons buy them already prepared so you just pour in how much you want.

I'd like to know how you make your own salad. Do you put tomatoes in it? Red onion? Salad is one of the easiest foods to make. A nice dill dressing or Asian dressing helps - I like them, anyway.
