I would say it's a mix of contemplation, things I've read, things that resonate with me, psychically channeled material etc.

It is mainly my own contemplation or intuition.

All souls have what is a "twin" or "soulmate". It is not necessarily a sexual one. Many times it is a spiritual connection. You and your soulmate have travelled through many lifetimes and supposedly you were made at the same time together. You were meant to be the yin to the yang of one another on your soul-journey.

Jesus Christ and Mother Mary were connected from other lifetimes. She came in to be his mother and he chose her to be his mother before they incarnated. We all choose our parents when creating our contracts with the High Council on the other side.

Someone like Jesus, Buddha, Saint Francis, and such are a rarity. Majority of advanced souls who are very enlightened usually remain in Spirit. The reason is because Spirit and God is so intoxicating, the Bliss and Joy and Love you just don't ever wanna leave that oneness again. Many continue to maintain their earth-personas and guide earthly people; these are the Saints and Masters of many Religions; or they are so old they have no more ties to Earth or never did and are Angels and Archangels.

But very few Higher beings actually choose to come back as a master Teacher or savior. There is an up and down to all of this. If they remain in Spirit like the Saints, Masters, and Angels they will remain in oneness with God and continue to help forever, but they can only go so far as they evolved and many are JUST fine with that.

Jesus on the other hand desired to go further with his Love to an even HIGHER dimension and prepared himself to have an incarnation as one who would embody the Christ Consciousness (Godself/True-Self). Some religions call them avatars or bodhisattvas. I just call him a savior or master Teacher. A lifetime like this is meant to uplift others and save the world. The trials and lessons are more difficult but mainly for the benefit of others and to open the Master to an abundance of Universal Love. (rewatch the Passion of the Christ from Mel Gibson. Not a great film but there are moments when Jesus looks at his Mother and you can see her thinking 'why?! Why go this far for them?!' And it's because during his torture he felt an overwhelming joy and intoxication of compassion and solidarity for even his enemies. His Christ Consciousness was expanding even more. Gibson focused far too much on the sorrow and less on the JOY that Jesus must have felt dying for people who were even lower them in in evolution.)

He went through the drama of his life for other peoples' karma; both good and bad. The nation or Soul-group of Israel awaited for a promised messiah and God delivered. Jesus was right for the job. That was their collective positive karma. A very evolved Nation. But at the same time there was the negative karma of the nation that had him betrayed, scapegoated, and crucified. He went through all of this so that they could and others for later generations remember who we are, remember our divinity.- our true Face before the Father, our true Self. Jesus represented that. "Re-membrance of Me", "Shed my blood for RE-mission of sins, RE-demption of the world", it's about at-one-ment; RE-connecting ourselves with who we really are and with God and one another since all is God and nothing is separate or dualistic.

Sorry that was a lot LOL.
