There are many differences between a pure 'visitation' dream, one that is mixed content, and one that is a mind-construct. It is very hard to give guidelines to someone else about how to differentiate between the nuances of those dreams. But to cut a very long story as short as possible, when it's a pure visitation, you usually wake up immediately after, tremendously moved as if you have been right there with them. I'm pretty sure I've only experienced the mind-construct type of dreams... The dreams are really random and not clear, and there is a sense of the (deceased) individuals being part of the dream content, but no direct & meaningful interaction transpiring (that I can remember)...
It would be nice to experience a pure visitation dream...
