I just got back from the bookstore, and at first couldn't find the book, though the computer said it was there. So I looked again and it was on the very top shelf. It looked very interesting, but it wasn't "speaking " to me ... sorry, but thank you anyways for the recommendation. It was the one by Buckland, the other author's book was an ebook.

That's okay, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Maybe it will spark a direction for you to go in and find something you do like. There's lot's of material out there on candles.... Keep hunting, something will find its way to you.
I plan to do other posts on candles, crystals and runes... keep an eye out.
