Who told you ? Do you have any personal experience that supports what was said ?
While it may have been a mere action of support, it also makes my heart alarm tick off when it seems like someone wants to plug you back into the system, if you know what I mean.
I would recommend that you take a few steps back with the intention to tune back in to your heart...because clarity is key to knowing one's power, as opposed to being abused by ignorance.
The voice of one's heart can be distinguished from the mind by decerning what feels right, without judging it, so I would recommend to be aware of how your heart responds to certain pieces information.
If that fails for you in any given moment, clarity is usually regained when one manages one's vibration back into alignment and feel good.
