To suggest the mind and consciousness are in fact matter sets up the absurdity of an infinite regress. If i am merely the interaction of electromagnetic impulses in the brain what then is the observer of consciousness? If the observer of consciousness is also the interaction of electromagnetic impulses in the brain then that is a pernicious cycle and logically unsound. Ergo consciousness is not grasped by finite logic or math or any other such thing.
