Actually the Ultimate Reality is duality because without duality there would be no reality because it is the contrast between two opposites where in the middle you will find what we call reality and through contrast we live. Likewise you cannot free yourself from all these negative emotions that you speak of although you can lessen them dramatically in some instances but you cannot rid yourself of negative emotion and only keep positive emotion because positive emotion is only positive due to the fact you have experienced negative emotion and this is what makes the two opposites so extreme for the person experiencing it so then if you were to rid yourself of all negative emotions you would inevitably rid yourself of all emotions because without one you don't get the other.
