This is based on my own experience: MEDITATION! It helped me tremendously, I experience a very deep relief from meditation and anxiety and its' so profound that it feels like a weight was taken from my shoulders and I can breathe freely once again.

Quiet the mind and the mind would not be able anymore to cause you anxiety and depression.
