I completely understand.
Some pain is almost unbearable and doesn't go away...the images remain ... a terrible thing.

EMDR worked for my sister -but it took more than a couple times (it shouldn't have normally tho.)
It was the worst thing you might imagine in your life, tho.
Doesn't get much worse than blood, death and helplessness.

Also online there are youtubes to walk you through doing an EFT 'routine'.
You may need to do it 3 xs a day ---but takes 20 seconds....follow what the man says.

Also, I did this with a therapist - but you can do this alone...
Relax, breathe 10 xs easily...now with eyes closed bring up the persons involved...or see the terrible event.
In your mind picture you handling it differently---like, you stand up to the person, you kill the person, you save the person,
all the people come out of the blaze unharmed...you get what i mean ''picture the 'thing' the way you wish it turned out.''

This makes new pathways in the brain. See the whole thing as a victory or with a happy ending.
Do that till you are ok. (Even tho you can't change what happened or what you saw - it changes
or lessens greatly the stab in your heart.)

Or not, just what works for many people.

Oh - added: if it involves your heart -- pain, broken, aching - buy a tincture bottle of Motherwort...
take a dropper at night and in the morning...it might work after only 2 days.
(Oh I see you're suspended, but you may come back to read hopefully.) Good luck.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru
