Yes, feeling shame, guilt, embarrassment of being needy are all tricks in the ego's (devil's) toolbox
to keep Man away from God.
And yes, God only sees our true selves...pure and sweet.
God wants YOU...just as you are...He wants you to turn to HIM!
Do not turn away from Him cuz of ridiculous shame that is nonsense.
Be humble, yes...be a child ...yes....you are placed in a terrible situation ...you have these senses that distract you ...
desires to watch TV rather than connect deeply with God....so what ....
God wants even a second a day when you can recognize and acknowledge Him.
That second turns into a minute....then it turns into an hour....your love will grow and that is all He wants.
Trust me He does not want your shame...only your constant turning only to Him, honey.
Homework: Contemplate Psalm 37:4 Delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.
Think of yourself as a puppy ...and God only wants to kiss your little tummy and love you up....
don't begrudge Him that with silly shame, my little darling person.
