How long have you been vegan?
I felt close to a depression for years. When I stopped eating meat and later on skipped the last bit of dairy from my diet my well being seriously improved.

On the other hand, I have read that people with children are generally less happy then people without them. But the parents also said they would not want to trade for anything in the world.
