Memories haunted
Years pass busily
Heart heavy, beating uneasily
Final moments
Painfully poignant
He then recognises
Realises
That the caring nurse
Singing the melodious verse
Is her! The one, with the tender touch
His child! Her hand he does clutch
He seeks forgiveness arising from regret
Delusional to the end, ego elevating self to self-elect
But she is the non-self, divine-entwined
Free from the ego bind
Their hands touch
He says ‘thank you very much’
She says ‘heal your heart yourself’
‘By surrendering your desire self‘
He takes her divine wisdom as rejection
Misunderstanding, emotes dejection
Language of non-self & ego-self never meet
One speaks from love & the other babbles in Greek
