2012 has been milked enough
And I thought the world learned their lesson after "Y2K".

Personally, i wouldn't put Y2K in the same catogory as the Mayan 2012 stuff.

The issue i see with the Mayan stuff, is when people claim to have it 100% accurately sussed.
Deciphering an unknown language with no factual resources as a starting point equates to errors being made.
Taking an article regarding Egyptian hieroglyphics for example, in that some symbols have been interpreted to mean XYZ for many decades,
but now some new researchers are saying these conclusions might be wrong.

Also, even though there are scam artists and people who are "to build their own empires",
i view the majority of researchers to be genuinely expressing what they consider to be accurate info.
Just because someone is wrong, doesn't mean they were intentionally being so.
