I watch eating ASMR every once in a while
Technically its called Mokbangs ( Korean for eating broadcasting). Mainly because I intermittent fast every day and I don't eat junk or fast food. The food has to look edible tho, like sonic burgers or tacos. Its like a weird fulfilled fantasy watching it since my diet is so restrictive * has issues*
As far as traditional ASMR, yeah those videos can be quite odd. I saw one where a nurse was playing a head lice specialist and pretending to take out nits out of someones hair,I cant .. LOL... Honestly, I think alot of the videos out there are for humor and click bait, not really that serious, but I suppose there are people that get genuine satisfaction and relief from it due to what the name actually stands for, ' Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response'.
