Yup, definitely went out for lunch! With people I don't usually see together. Some slightly awkward moments - one of my friends who went is in a bit of a down period, and another who doesn't work clinically, so there was often a period of time where one party member may have felt a little left out.

I was joking to my friend on the phone that I think guys might find me intimidating, as I'm pretty proud of where I am in life (I worked so hard to get here!!!) and am currently in a "yay! #living my best life!" phase where I'm genuinely pretty happy and secure in a lot of social settings.

I wouldn't say that you intimidate them, but they do feel like perhaps you don't want to socialize with them. They see that you are interested and have a playful, flirty and innocent side to you, but they're not quite sure how to connect to that.
