With study, it becomes quite evident that Consciousness precedes everything, and is responsible for everything, Alexa.
Enjoyed recently the research documentary on PBS, sponsored by Nature.
On how Plants act like animals, are apparently conscious... only behaving on a much slower time scale, and secretly underground, regarding the behavioral activity of it's roots and rhisomes.
How plants also interact with their environment, and other species, such as with insects.
