I had a small problem once. Someone was slapping my son's head as he was going to sleep.

I protected myself, got some holy water from church (don't know why, I just felt it was right) and sprinkled it around the room. I asked the spirit to leave and tried to direct it to the light. We never had a problem after that.

If this is something more serious though, go to your local Spiritualist Church and get a medium come and clear the house - don't dabble in anything yourself unless you are 100% sure of what you are doing.
