Not that I would know what happened to the 9 Russians, but the song is nice - quite sophisticated, artistic doom rock/metal that ‘paints an atmospheric picture’ of the dark & gloomy North.
But why were the deaths of the 9 associated with the Komi&Mansi Rock Goddess?

Well, maybe the 9 Mansi – (persecuted by Russians?) – went to the ‘portal’ and vanished in the thin air.
That I could actually believe as far-fetched as it sounds.
In addition to the 1959 incident - 9 Russians dying in plane crash 1991 too …… ?
But all those Russians being killed by the fertility Rock Goddess – no …. that is just a silly superstition.
And where is that Goddess? Is the foto down the page (next to ‘testimonials’) a side view of her?
