Vitamin A is also important for retinal health. And CoQ10 is good for the macula and retina.

Boy, it seems like I am always finding out new things about CoQ10 and what it helps. I first learned about it in the 80s and used it on my cat who had been diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. After 8 months of supplementation, his heart returned to normal size. Then, recently in the last or so years, when my cat Patches developed liver issues, I discovered it was good for the liver so I added that to the list of supplements I gave her and she recovered. And I also learned at the same time it was good for the kidneys and renal patients benefited from taking it. Dialysis patients were even able to get off of dialysis in certain cases. Its also good for the mitochondria (the power supply in our cells) and helps with energy and brain fog.
