That sounds like a very decent idea!
Strange you should say that. I am right next to two Knights in armour right now! They are literally 2 feet away! They are my 'fire dogs'. (cast iron grille which stops logs falling out of the fire.)
If some imagery has been a protective force for you for many years then it will have built up some strength on the astral!
