arto .......... my deepest sympathy, love and condolences for you and all your family over the tragic loss of your dear brother Nathan.

I feel your pain at this time, as I think about your brother ....... I lost my eldest sister 3 years ago, and it was unexpected and such a shock.

She lived over in Canada with her family, and as far as we were aware she was a healthy person right up till the day she had a fatal heart attack.

The phone call out of the blue was like a knife through the heart to us ...... so sudden and final. I know you will be feeling stunned by all this ...... trying to comprehend the reality of it all ....... it feels wrong, like its a mistake ........ it's the worst kind of nightmare you could think of.

I offer you my love and support, and in time I pray that you will find peace in your heart ........ your dear brother is still with you ....... he always will be.

I would like to offer you this poem by Henry Scott Holland.

It has brought me comfort, and I fervently believe the message it gives, and hope you find some comfort in it too.

Simon.

All Is Well.

Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped into the next room

I am I and you are you

Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.

Call me by my old familiar name,

Speak to me in the easy way which you always use

Put no difference in your tone,

Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow

Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.

Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.

Let my name be ever the household word that it always was,

Let it be spoken without effect, without the trace of shadow on it.

Life means all that it ever meant.

It is the same as it ever was, there is unbroken continuity.

Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight ?

I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near,

Just around the corner.

All is well.
