The findings of Dr. Ian Stevens, a strong proponent of reincarnation, found that in a number of cases he researched birthmarks were often associated with the wounds that caused death in a previous life. In all such cases, the victim both died suddenly and was reborn quickly. He did not note that wounds suffered from several lifetimes previous did not cause such birthmarks.
