I know what you are trying to say, but not all guides are bad.
The problem is often terminology, and not taking time to test spirits.
Even in the bible there are guides. We call them Angels. Lot was visited, Mary and many others.
Yes God does warn Jews Christians. But there are many others who do not follow the bible. God is not only the God of believers but non believers as well. They are all His children whether you want to accept that or not is your choise.
