My story is similar to yours. My life plan was actually devised by my twin's higher self. I am also guided to the belief that my next partner will be a soul mate and not my twin. I know my twin in real life however we are not intended to be together at this time.
I have done my own research on twins and soul bonds. I did get some channeled validation through another from AA Michael about those insights. I would encourage working closely with your twin's higher self. My experience has been that it is spiritually productive to do that.
