little girl? using the theory that 'there's a place for everything'... where would
the proper place be for that "negative attachment"? if you'd successfully
removed it from where it was, where would it go and what would it do?
for it to be "trying to pull me in" is suggestive that it holds 'information' to
convey to you [and thus serves a purpose other than being purely malicious].
where you were praying, i imagine it to be for guidance, which would grant
you a greater understanding for the context in which the "negative attachment"
was operating. i think that your understanding of this dream event may
involve some 'negation' of the mental framework you've constructed...
in order to expand the scope of your vision [like removing a wall from a
house, in order to add an extension].
it was a dream about gaining a greater perspective on existence...
possibly beyond the need for providing 'protection'.
