Oh yes yes!! I have read about that. It seems you are right, it doesn't just happen to us... I also read about this queen ant who pretends to be dead, then when an opossing colony takes her to the den, she kills the queen and dresses herself with her shell, and then the other ants will help her lay eggs while thinking she is their queen... Then the babies she produces grow up and destroy that entire colony...
