It's just what you say comes across as a bit of a broken record from like millions of different near-identical sources (other codgers often on top of the hierarchy, LOL).
And we've all been hearing it since the dawn of the last several millenia…

So, you're entitled to your opinion and I want to be respectful of that. However, I feel it's wrong-headed (and tiresome).
We can always speak later on something else. But I really have to draw a firm line on this topic.

Based on your characterization, I'm not sure you've actually 'heard' (accurately, that is) what I wanted to get across -- maybe you have, in which case just relegate what follows to your trash basket, or maybe you haven't, so let me restate the philosophy I espouse and recommend when dealing with 'problematic' people (at 'work' or elsewhere), I recommend:
"Aiming to cooperatively engage in optimizing and augmenting Life’s Love and Joy Flow in relation to and with salutary and reciprocally responsive others, as well as unilaterally aiming to educate or, such attempt failing, to distance oneself and other potentially positively productive aspects of Life from and, to whatever extent may be feasible, counteract (psychospiritually at least, if one doesn’t have the wherewithal to do so physiosocially at any given point) presently nonreciprocal and unsalutary others (previously analogized as being like ‘parasites’ and ‘thorns’ in my treatise) when and where doing so may be necessary and desirable to sustain and further the growth of healthy ‘leaves’, blossoming of positive-possibility-laden ‘flowers’, and ripening of nutritious ‘fruit’ on the Love and Joy generated ‘tree’ of Life."
