The weirdness of all this....
I read an interview a few years ago about this man who was over 100 years old, certainly wasn't vegetarian, had smoked in his life and liked a drink. He never got cancer. Probably died of old age in the end.
In opposition to that there was a healthy young woman who lived an outdoor life, lived healthy, never ate meat, didn't smoke or drink -and she did! And passed away from it in her late 30s. My grandad never got cancer and he had been gassed in the 1st world war, must have eaten some rubbish for years on end, smoked, etc. My cousin did get it (bowel cancer) and he lived a fairly clean life and died age 34.
My neighbour and friend down the road has just been diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumour. She is my age. She never ever eats or does anything unhealthy!
