Before we speak about connecting to God or talking about prayers heard or not heard, perhaps we should consider ... who is asking/ praying?
If it is our ego ... meaning that aspect in us ... in most cases the dominant one ... which is seeking favours related to fear or desire oriented attachments, then the problem is this ...
Our true self ... at soul or spirit level is concerned with evolution spread across innumerable life spans, whereas the ego is concerned only about gain in the immediate future and that too about something fleeting, perishable, transient.
We may see that God or even us as the soul vs the imaginary, self created ego are not on the same page then ...
Which is why we need to review ... who is it that is asking the question?
