I would call in my higher self and have it set up a team of Ascended Masters to take a look. I learned this the hard way, with Reiki you are not really doing anything. You are allowing yourself to be a conduit for those who can do something. I hope this helps:
I'd recommend centering first for both of you. Then I'd say something along the lines of "Higher Self, Higher Discernible Intelligence would you be able to set up a team to work on so-and-so, and clear what ever is not serving them" If you have your sanskrit symbols and phrases, use those for extra oomph.
